A group of talented JHS students at Swift Academy are earning praise after developing innovative artificial intelligence-powered systems aimed at solving some of Ghana’s pressing healthcare and environmental challenges.
The young innovators, based in Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, have developed an AI-powered dialysis monitoring system alongside a smart aquaponics project that combines fish farming, soil-free crop cultivation, water purification, and renewable energy production.
Their inventions are already generating excitement online, with many social media users describing the students as proof that Ghana’s future is in safe hands.

The students’ dialysis monitoring system comes at a time when Ghana continues to face major challenges in kidney care and dialysis treatment.
