NSMQ Star Akorfa Dagadu has graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in Chemical-Biological Engineering, earning another remarkable honour by being named the Most Outstanding Chemical Engineering Student in Boston by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
The former Keta Senior High Technical School semifinalist’s achievement has been widely celebrated by Ghanaians and the National Science and Maths Quiz community.
Announcing the news on Facebook, the National Science and Maths Quiz congratulated her, writing:
“Congratulations to Akorfa Dagadu, #NSMQ2019 semifinalist from Keta SHTS on graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in Chemical-Biological Engineering. She was named the Most Outstanding Chemical Engineering Student in Boston by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).”

In another proud moment for the NSMQ fraternity, Prince Debrah Jr., a finalist in the 2021 competition from Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), has also graduated from MIT with a degree in Computer Science.

Prince Debrah Jr. is already set for an exciting start to his professional career after securing a software engineering role with Google in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Speaking after his graduation, he revealed:
“I will be working as a Software Engineer at Google in the Bay Area.”
